Talk:Chronogeddon CCG card set/new cards

From Dvorak - A Blank-Card Game

Six new cards, inspired by John Linnell's State Songs. Normally I'd just add them to the page, but name and flavor text-wise, they're kind of out there, even by my standards. Anywho, I didn't want to clutter up the main talk page with them, but here they are, in case anyone thinks they're neat.

1889
Final Revelation
Equipment - Soldier
When the equipped Unit is destroyed, each other Unit you control in this Era may take an Action.
"In the morning he'll tell someone the last thing that I said, when I told him that Montana was a leg."

1861
C. S. S. Arkansas
Unit - Vehicle
Damage: 2 (ranged)
Stamina: 8

As an additional cost for this Unit to take a Unit action, discard a card.
Every detail had been reproduced on a scale of one to one.

The Temple of the Maine
Terrain - Unique External
Whenever a Holy Unit destroys a Profane Unit, its controller may flip any Portal in play face-up. Whenever a Profane Unit destroys a Holy Unit, its controller may flip any Portal in play face-fown.
Maine is the devil you know; Maine is the heaven below; Maine at the top of the chart has crushed my evil heart.

2350
Michiganite Mine
Terrain - Site
Stamina: X, where X is the number of players.

Remove all damage from this card at the start of your turn.

Units in this era have "Unit Action: Inflict 1 damage on Michiganite Mine, inflict 1 damage on target Unit, and draw a card."
O Michigan, exemplar of unchecked replication!

1788
Sad New Hampshireman
Unit - Soldier
Damage: 1
Stamina: 1

At the start of your turn, you may target a player who controls an open Portal in this era. If you do, look at the top card of that player's deck, and put it back on top of that deck or remove it from the game.

Nevada's Gambit
Action
Remove all damage from target Soldier Unit that is not in its home era. You may inflict that much damage on another Unit in the same era.
Nevada, Nevada, The dream of every gal. Nevada, Nevada, It's every boy's pal.

Did I say six? I meant seven.Jtwe 17:57, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

2410
Michiganite Core
Equipment - Soldier
At the end of your turn, put an Ore counter on each Unit and Terrain in every era where there is an Ore counter or a Michiganite Core.

At the start of your turn, destroy all Portals in every era in which there are 30 or more Ore counters on cards in that era.

Did I say seven? I meant eight. This one is probably too annoying to exist, especially with my own Supermassive Black Hole in the same era. Michiganite, of course, is a radioactive, self-replicating mineral which would make excellent weapons if it weren't for its tendency to, well, self-replicate and spread radiation everywhere, leaving vast swaths of land uninhabitable. Added the cards to the main files with small flavor changes. -- Zaratustra 21:49, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
