Special Rules
Each player starts with 100 Life Points (LP). The first player to lose all of his or her LP loses.
Summons
Instead of calling them Things, Metal Monsters calls them Summons. Summons have force and armor, which are shown in the card value like this: f/<force>, a/<armor>. Summons are the only cards that can battle each other.
Battling
To battle 2 Summons, compare their force and armor. Calculate damage this way: 1. Attacking Summon's force > Defending Summon's armor = Defending Summon is destroyed and its controller loses LP equal to the difference between the two Summons' force. 2. Attacking Summon's force < Defending Summon's armor = Attacking Summon's controller loses LP equal to the difference between the two Summons' force. Neither Summon is destroyed. 3. Attacking Summon's force = Defending Summon's armor = Neither Summon is destoryed, both players lose LP equal to the difference between the two Summons' force.
