I like these and they are very similar to some icons I had in mind... Here is what I was thinking:
Spirit: Lightning bolt
Mind: Open Book
Heart : Heart
Will: Four arrows pointing to four cardinal directions
Sklll: open hand or sword
Power: clenched fist
