Players attempt to achieve their favoured social system. Based loosely on the board game of the same name.
Special Rules
Goal Cards
At the start of the game, the 16 goal cards (with the black, red, and blue titles), should be taken out of the deck and shuffled. Each player should be dealt one goal card. The goal cards should then be shuffled in with the rest of the deck. Each player keeps their goal card face up in front of them. Players may play a goal card from their hand, replacing their existing goal card. If a player acheives their goal when it isn't their turn, they don't win until the start of their turn (and by the time their turn starts they might not have acheived their goal any more). Thus there can never be a situation where two or more players win. There are two copies of each goal card, and players may have the same goal at the same time.
Alliances
Alliance cards represent what allies the Workers and Capitalists have at any given time. There are four social groups - Peasants, Self-Employed, Professionals and Students. Each of the four may be neutral, may support the Capitalists, or may support the Workers. Alliance cards apply to all players, not just the person who played them. There should be one space for Alliance cards rather than players playing them in front of themeselves. Generally, when a player plays an Alliance card they should discard any card which contradicts it. The exceptions to this rule are the 'Crisis' and 'neutrality' cards, which affect a number of different alliances. Part of these cards may be contradicted by a card which affects only 1 social group. The 'Crisis' or 'Neutrality' card should be placed under the new card to indicate that it remains in affect where it is not superceded by the new card.
Class Cards
Class cards represent different social groups. They do not represent the numbers of people in the different social groups, rather they represent the political power of different classes at different times. You may play Class cards in front of yourself or another player.

General Strike

Every player with more Capitalists than Workers discards 1 Worker, if they have any. Every player with more Workers than Capitalists discards 1 Capitalist, if they have any. If a player has equal numbers of Workers and Capitalists, and the number is more than zero, they discard 1 of each.
Land Occupation

Every player with more Capitalists than Peasants discards 1 Peasant, if they have any. Every player with more Peasants than Capitalists discards 1 Capitalist, if they have any. If a player has equal numbers of Workers and Capitalists, and the number is more than zero, they discard 1 of each. You cannot play this card if Peasants are allied with Capitalists.
Workers Compromise With Students

Play this card on any player (including yourself) who has at least 1 Worker. You may only play this card when Students are allied with Workers. The player you choose may either discard 1 Worker, or place this card with the other alliances to indicate that Students are now neutral.
