- As far as I can tell, the main uses for the alternate colors are:
- 006 - standard Thing
- 600 - standard Action color
- 007, 700 - alternate Thing and Action colors used mainly by Bucky and Corrigan
- 060 - conventional color for a Reaction
- 666 - standard color for non-Action non-Things, used explicitly for various sets of subtyped Things (e.g. machines, buildings)
- 009 - Bright blue, used initially by Things imported from other decks, later adopted by JakeTheWolfie as a common Thing color
- 900 - Bright red; as 009 but also Binarius used to use it for Reactions
- FFF - White, usually used as the color but occasionally represents holy cards
- 770 - Gold, used both for money/gold related cards and (primarily by Bucky) to mark win conditions
- 008 - another variant Thing color, used by gill_smoke and Tronbie
- 003 - blue-tined black; used by gill_smoke to represent evil Things and by Binarius for Things that harm their owner.
- 999 - Introduced by NinjaWookiee, usually used for Things
- 800 - Action corresponding to 008, or used to represent Actions that are specifically red
- 606 - used to indicate a card can be played as either an Action or a Thing
- 066 - "military" Things
- 111 - one of several common shades of black, used interto signify evil/undead cards and occasionally loss conditions
