Spambots
That was actually a rogue spambot editing the time-travel CCG - I don't know why they're doing it, but they seem to take the wiki source of a page and feed it through something that converts plus signs to spaces and cuts out entirely at non-ASCII characters, before pasting it all back in.
I picture them as long-forgotten spambots in a Taiwanese warehouse, who've crossed out all the shut-down spam sites from their list of sites to advertise, and are just idly churning through wiki pages, with nothing left to add... --Kevan 19:19, 5 June 2007 (BST)

More spambots
Thanks for the cleanup. I've seen these guys on a couple of wikis recently, and it looks like they've either cracked ReCAPTCHA or persuaded bored humans to go through it manually - I'll dig around for a stronger anti-spam countermeasure over the next day or two. --Kevan 00:37, 30 June 2009 (BST)
Admin promotion
Actually, I don't know why I haven't just made you an admin before now. You can now delete pages and ban users. Cheers. --Kevan 12:33, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
New Guy
I've been browsing the Dvorak website and have been completely fascinated. I've been trying to get a game of 1000 Blank White Cards going online for a month or two now, and I thought maybe this would be the site to find players. I was disappointed to see that most of the edits are over a year old. I saw that you and Corrigan are still active though, so I thought maybe you guys could point me in the right direction.
(I've also never really done much with wikis, so I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this message.)

Disabling new accounts
Thanks for your work wiping the spam off the walls - given that it's getting so bad, I've gone ahead and just disabled new account signup, putting in a message telling people to email me if they want an account. I'll sort out a more permanent solution some time, but you can at least take a breather now. --Kevan 19:03, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
