Special Rules
If a player controls one or more heroes, that player may may use one attack with a hero, or equip, unequip or use one materia with a hero.
Using green materia is considered casting a spell.
If a hero reaches 0 HP, that hero is knocked out. You can't control a hero that is knocked out.
The only spells that can be cast on a knocked out hero are spells that either revive or discard that hero.
If a hero is knocked out for 3 rounds, it is discarded.
If a hero is dead, it is discarded.
If a hero is discarded, all things used by that hero are also discarded.
If a thing used by a hero is destroyed or discarded, any materia placed in any materia slots in that thing are discarded.
A hero can only use one weapon and one jewelry at a time.
Every hero has an armor with one materia slot. This armor can't be affected in any way and stays with the hero at all times.
If a player controls 3 heroes that are not knocked out, petrified or stopped for 3 full rounds that player wins the game.
Limit Breaks can only be used on heroes you control, who are not under the effects of Sleepel, Confusion, Toad, Minimum, Petrify, Berserk or Paralysis. That hero must also have less than 5 HP.

A mystical man, stern and upright while at the same time dark and mysterious. His past connection with Shinra, Inc. is what made him join Cloud and the others. He may seem frail at first glance, but hidden inside his body lurks a fearsome power.

Recovery
Materia - Green
Use this materia to cast Cure or Regen on one hero. Cure restores 5 HP. Regen restores 1 HP each round.
Heal
Materia - Green
Use this materia to cast Esuna on one hero or player. Esuna removes all detrimental effects.
Revive
Materia - Green
Use this materia to cast Life on one hero. Life will revive and restore a knocked out hero to 3 HP.
Time
Materia - Green
Use this materia to cast Slow or Stop on one hero. A slowed hero can't use any materia or action in the first turn after being slowed, and every other turn after that. A stopped hero can't use any materia or action until cured.
If Stop is cast, the materia used to cast Stop is discarded.
Destruct
Materia - Green
Use this materia to cast DeSpell or Death on one hero. DeSpell will remove any beneficial effects on that hero. Death will instantly reduce that hero to 0 HP.
If Death is cast, the materia used to cast Death is discarded.
FullCure
Materia - Green
Use this materia to cast FullCure on one hero. FullCure will revive and restore a hero to full health and remove any detrimental effects.
If FullCure is cast, the materia used to cast FullCure is discarded.
Gravity
Materia - Green
Use this materia to cast Demi on one hero. Demi deals damage equal to half the target's HP (round down).
Mystify
Materia - Green
Use this materia to cast Confusion or Berserk on one hero. Confusion will make that hero attack a random hero each round, but is cured when the confused hero takes any damage. Berserk will disable the ability to cast spells for one hero, but any weapon attacks made by that hero will deal 1 extra damage.
Poison
Materia - Green
Use this materia to cast Bio on one hero. Bio deals 2 damage to and poison one hero. Poison deals 1 damage to the poisoned hero at the start of each round.
Seal
Materia - Green
Use this materia to cast Sleepel on one hero. Sleepel will make one hero fall asleep. A sleeping hero can't use any actions or materia. Any damage to a sleeping hero will wake that hero up.
Transform
Materia - Green
Use this materia to cast Mini on one hero. Mini will shrink one hero. A shrunken hero will do 2 less damage with weapon attacks.
Ultima
Materia - Green
Use this materia to cast Ultima on all heroes. Ultima deals 4 damage and cannot be reflected.
If Ultima is cast, the materia used to cast Ultima is discarded.
Manipulate
Materia - Yellow
Use this materia to Manipulate one hero. You can control that hero instead of controlling yourself for 3 rounds. Any damage on the manipulated hero will break the effect.
Steal
Materia - Yellow
Use this materia to steal one thing from a player. Heroes can't be stolen using Steal materia. Steal materia is discarded after using it to succesfully steal one or more things.
Mime
Materia - Yellow
Use this materia to mimic the effect of the last green or yellow materia used, but on a target of your choice.
Slash-all
Materia - Yellow
Use this materia to damage all heroes of one player in the same attack.
Counter Attack
Materia - Pink
If a hero who has this materia equiped is damaged by a spell or an attack, that hero will attack the hero that used that spell or attack.
Cover
Materia - Pink
If a hero controlled by the player who also controls the hero with this materia is damaged by an attack or spell, the hero with this materia may take the damage instead.
HP plus
Materia - Pink
The hero with this materia equiped will have 3 more maximum HP.
Added Cut
Materia - Blue
When equiped together with any green materia, the hero will attack in addition to using that green materia. That attack is on the same target as the spell cast from the green materia.
All
Materia - Blue
When equiped together with any green materia, the spell cast with that materia will affect all heroes controlled by a player instead of one hero.
Final Attack
Materia - Blue
When equiped together with any green materia, the hero can use that materia at the time he would get knocked out or killed.
HP absorb
Materia - Blue
When equiped together with any green materia, the spell cast with that materia will also heal the casting hero for 2 HP.
Meteor
Materia - Black
Sephiroth can use this materia to summon Meteor. You must be in the Lifestream to do this. The game will be over 7 rounds after Meteor has been summoned with the player controlling Sephiroth at that time winning the game, unless Meteor is destroyed by Holy. This materia is removed from the game if Meteor is summoned.
Holy
Materia - White
Aeris can use this materia to summon Holy. If Holy is cast at any point during the game, Meteor will be destroyed by Holy 6 rounds after Meteor is summoned. If Aeris is knocked out or discarded after Holy has been cast while Meteor has not been summoned, this spell is cancelled. This materia is discared when Holy is cast.
Omnislash

Only usable by Cloud Strife. Make 15 attacks on ramdom heroes you don't control.
Catastrophe
Action - Limit Break
Only usable by Barret Wallace. Make 10 attacks that deal 2 damage each (damage is not affected by things or spells).
Final Heaven
Action - Limit Break
Only usable by Tifa Lockheart. Make 7 attacks that deal 3 damage each (damage is not affected by things or spells).
Great Gospel
Action - Limit Break
Only usable by Aeris Gainsborough. Fully recover all heroes you control and remove all effects on everyone.
Cosmo Memory
Action - Limit Break
Only usable by Red XIII. Make one attack against all heroes that are not controlled by you.
All Creation
Action - Limit Break
Only usable by Yuffie Kisaragi. Steal all materia from and kill one hero that you do not control.
Highwind
Action - Limit Break
Only usable by Cid Highwind. Deal 2 damage to all heroes you do not control for every hero you do control.
Chaos
Action - Limit Break
Only usable by Vincent Valentine. Transform into Chaos and increase your HP to 15. Make 3 attacks to random heroes you do not control at the start of every round if Vincent is able to attack. Vincent cannot use any green or yellow materia while under this effect. This effect ends when Vincent is knocked out.
Dice
Action - Limit Break
Only usable by Cait Sith. Throw three 6-sided dice. If all dice show a 6, you win the game. If exactly two dice show a 1, discard all your cards. Otherwise, deal damage equal to the lowest dice to a number of heroes equal to the sum of the other dice.

Destroy one thing from a player. Doesn't affect heroes.

Kalm is on the edge of the badlands of Midgar. It is populated by the workers of the Mythril Mines, but work has stopped since monsters appeared in the mines.
Fort Condor

Fort Condor is the site of a rebel group which is located on the lower east side of the Eastern Continent. The fort sits on top of Mt. Condor, where a rare bird called the Condor is warming its eggs.
Junon

Junon sits on the west side of the Eastern Continent. The surrounding area has been drained of life due to the use of the Underwater Reactor. Junon is made of a town on the ground, and a city on the plate above.
Costa del Sol

Take a vacation on the beach. Skip two turns.
Unexplainably hot. It is a tropical resort on the east side of the Great Continent. People from all over the world would come here for vacation. President Shinra even has a ville here!
North Corel

Bet at the chocobo races. Skip two turns and loose all your money.
It is Barret's hometown. Or... it was. It is now just a small group of tents on the edge of Mt. Corel on the northern side of the Great Continent. Right next to it themepark Golden Saucer.
Wutai

This is Yuffie's hometown. It is a tourist town in the northern part of the Western Continent. Behind Wutai, on a mountain side, is Da-chao, a statue. The people of Wutai worship Da-chao, Leviathan, and the Five Mighty Gods.
