Special Rules
If 2 Things affect the same type of piece, the old one is destroyed. You need a chess board. You don't have to announce or move out of check. If you have no kings, you lose.
Crad List
Normal Pawns
Thing
Pawns Move normally.
Straight Pawns
Thing
Pawns move and take straight.
Diagonal Pawns
Thing
Pawns move and take diagonally.
Reverse Pawns
Thing
Pawns move diagonally and take straight.
Checkers
Thing
Pawns move as chckers, meaning they move diagonally forward, take by jumping another piece, and can take multiple times a turn.
Ninja Pawns
Thing
Pawns cannot take, but move as Knights.
Thief Pawns
Thing
Pawns cannot take, but move as Bishops.
Athletic Pawns
Thing
Pawns cannot take, but move as rooks.
Normal Knights
Thing
Knights move normally.
Skewed Knights
Thing
Knights move 2 straight then 1 diagonal.
Slanted Knights
Thing
Knighs move 1 straight then 2 diagonal.
Archer Knights
Thing
Knights move normally, but take as bishops(ranged).
Slide Knights
Thing
Knights may move one space any direction without taking.
Lightnig Knights
Thing
Knights may make multiple moves as long as they take.
Normal Bishops
Thing
Bishops move normally.
Slide Bishops

Bishops may move one space normally without taking.
Sprightly Kings

Kings may move an additional space.
Entrenched Pawns
Thing
Pieces can't jump over Pawns.
Flying Bishops
Thing
Each bishop may jump over at most one piece per movement.
Retreating Pawns
Thing
Pawns may move backward, but not take backward.
Hemmed-In Queens
Thing
Queens can't move more than three spaces at once.
Normal Queens
Thing
Queens move normally.
Normal Rooks

Rooks move normally.
Stronghold Rooks

Rooks can't move, be taken or be jumped over.
Bulldozer Rooks
Thing
Whenever a rook takes a piece, any enemy pieces adjacent to that piece are taken as well.
