The BBC aren't prepared to commission it, but we're willing to make the card game. A finite number of monkeys and tennis racquets. One ball. One winner.
Special Rules
Shot Types
There are two types of Actions - Shots (signified with an exclamation mark) and Monkeying (a plus). During his or her turn, a Monkey can play any number of Monkeying Actions, followed by a single Shot Action. The power of the Shot is the total of the numbers on these cards.
Hitting a Shot
If a Shot's power is equal to or greater than that of the previous Shot, the Monkey sends the ball to another Monkey of his choice - it becomes that Monkey's turn.
Missing a Shot
If the Shot's power is less, however, or if no Shot Action was played, the ball has been missed. The Monkey who missed it may discard any number of cards, draw back up to five, then serve a new shot. (If a Monkey misses twice in a row, he or she must reveal their hand to show that they really are out of Shot cards, before they can draw any more.)
Points
Monkeys get a point if they pass a Shot to another Monkey, and that Monkey misses it. First Monkey to five points wins the game. Or something.
