Am I wrong, or does the Revolving Room/Portcullis combo potentially make the game unwinnable for one player? --Joe McMahon, 16.8.02

I would recommend additional rules on those two cards to prevent them from being in the same place in a player's sequence. If they are separated in the order, they ought not to be a problem. Also, what is the mechanism for backtracking? Is it just something a player decides to do, or can it only be done with cards? --Twenty8, 8.10.03

It seems that Portcullis is either useless or game-breaking. If it's played when nothing important is happening, it's useless. But if there's a Revolving Room (or, for that matter, more Left Turns or such than are in your solution), then you can't possibly win except by teaming up with someone. And I can't see why that someone would want to team up with you, unless it's a charity case. --PotatoEngineer, 25.8.04
