Talk:Compulsive Hoarding deck

From Dvorak - A Blank-Card Game

I assume simplicity and grossness factor is part of the fun, yes? I like the idea and seems pretty decent but I feel like a lot of the cards could have other effects. Maybe you don't want any game shattering effects or even any aggressive or oppressive type cards to keep the game simple, more doesn't always mean better. I think there should be more actions, or at least reprints of some actions. Hammer seems harmless enough yet necessary to make the game last more than a few minutes AND makes sure that the game doesn't just come to a tie if everything is in play (which should never happen in a game). Junks and health hazards seems pretty much the same thing with a different name, perhaps you could make it a little like link Demon Worship deck and make the Health Hazards a bit more distinct since they harder to play and therefore should be more powerful. To avoid hording of cards and having a little population control so when the deck cycles there's actually cards in the discard pile maybe you can make it something like.

Rodents
Thing-Health Hazard
When this comes into play you may destroy a thing you control: target opponent discards 2 cards at random.
They clean up the food I drop on the floor
Card by you

. The only real way to avoid card hoarding is discard. Preferably pinpointed discard where you see and discard the win condition card would fix most stuck games. I like the game and appreciate the effort (adding images always gives the game a more tangible feel) and I'm going to play test it with more than 2 people to see if I can give better incite of what should be done in those situations.
