This reminds me of the Heroes and Dragons deck; look there for ideas. A few issues I see with this deck are the narrowness of many of the cards, the symmetry, and the large number of dead cards. In order:

  • A pile of the cards don't do anything except enable other cards. Humans exist only for the purpose of the 'Death' card, dead humans exist only for the purposes of Sin/Blessing, and Priests/Satanists only exist for the same reason. The net effect is that there is not much actual interaction going on - the table gets cluttered with bodies, Priests and Satanists who don't do anything most of the time. To correct this, you should give Priests and Satanists actual abilities, and add more stuff that uses dead bodies.
  • The two sides do the exact same thing. The game is far more interesting if they don't - add a few cards that only one side has. For example, turn one of the Death cards into a Murder card that is more powerful but only on the evil side(see example below). Giving the Angels/Demons/Priests/Satanists abilities would also be a very good start.
  • Once you and your opponent have both chosen a side, between 1/3 and 1/4 of the cards you draw are useless. This makes the game both slower (you only play at 70% speed) and more luck-based. An easy way to fix this would be to give Angels/Demons abilities that use cards of the opposite type(see below). -Bucky 04:21, 25 June 2009 (BST)

Example cards:

Angel
Thing - Good
Action:Discard an Evil card and draw a card
Demon
Thing - Evil
Action:Discard a Good card. Each opponent discards a random card
Priest
Thing - Good
At the start of your turn, before drawing, look at the top card of the draw pile. You may then shuffle/cut the draw pile. Do this only once, even if you control several Priests
Satanist
Thing - Evil
At the start of your turn, before drawing, look at a random card from an opponents hand.
Murder
Action - Evil
Play only if you control a Demon or Satanist. Turn a Priest, Human, Satanist or Grave Robber into a dead human.
To signify they are dead, turn the card over. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DISCARD PILE.
Funeral
Action
Destroy a dead Human (move it to the discard pile). Draw a card for each Priest you control.

Oh, and it's standard to format the type line either as 'Thing - Evil' or as 'Evil Thing' rather than 'Evil - Thing'-Bucky 04:25, 25 June 2009 (BST)

Angles are what's formed when two lines intersect. You may want to use the [move] tab at the top of the page to change this to Angels and Demons. --Jtwe 18:44, 25 June 2009 (BST)
