Talk:A Magic-y CCG card set

From Dvorak - A Blank-Card Game
Jump to navigationJump to search

This is A Magic-y Deck's Discussion Page.

This Discussion page will have a procedure for sorting out topics for making it easier. Once a topic is brought up in either "Card Ideas", "Comments", "Game Balance Concern and Issues", Or "Other", then it will moved into its own subheading under that area, and if it becomes large enough, in its own heading. If you wish to automatically put a comment in its own subheading in its appropiate heading, go ahead. If you think an issue is large enough to concern a heading, go ahead and make your own heading.

Once an issue is dealt with, it will be kept around for however long it is allowed, and eventually someone will delete it if it becomes neccesary to the page to keep it viewable.

If you think this whole issue control procedure is stupid, feel free to comment on it in here.

These procedures are just for the sake of keeping the page tidy, in my oppinion, although they may not be neccesary, I'm not sure.

Changing the Article Title

I'm wondering, if anyone can help me, can I change the Article's title? I wanted to Change it too "A Magic-y CCG". Game and Watch Kirby 03:03, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

The "move" link at the top of page will let you change the title. Just remember that names of CCG pages should end with "CCG card set". Jtwe 17:26, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Card Ideas

Got ideas for cards? Wanna run them by me or other people first? Tell me about it here. Game and Watch Kirby 03:03, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Comments

Good? Bad? Great? Any comments, for the moment, go here. Game and Watch Kirby 03:03, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

I'd like to point out that the creature name is spelled 'Colossus', not 'Collosus'. Chinkeeyong 12:39, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Game Balance Concerns and Issues

If you have play tested the game, or spot some inbalance, you can voice your concern or view here. Game and Watch Kirby 03:03, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Does 'using a Resource' mean destroying it?
  • You say Creatures can only be put in play when an Action, but they have a cost themselves. Do I need to play the action -and- pay the cost, just one of the two, or what?

  • Using a Resource means destroying it. I added that to the rules to make it clear.
  • To play a creature, you can pay just the cost, or put it into play through a card. You do not have to do both.
Thanks for pointing those out. I corrected both of the mistakes, as far as I know. Game and Watch Kirby 21:31, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Other

Random Randomness. If it doesn't fit into another catagory and you don't want to make your own heading, make it here. Game and Watch Kirby 03:03, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Additional Rules - Physical Challenge

Hi. I just thought I'd mention that I've just developed the Additional Rules - Physical Challenge, which is a set of additional optional rules and definitions which I hope will be well suited to a wide range (but certainly not all) Dvorak games. It seems to me that this game could moderately easily be modified to align with these, so I thought I'd tell you about them.
