To play Dvorak: Draw five cards each and leave the rest as a draw pile. On your turn, draw a card from the draw pile and play one Thing and/or one Action. (See the full rules.)

Who can win the election and become president?

Special Rules

At the beginning of your turn, instead of drawing one card you draw 2 cards then immediately discard 1. It doesn’t have to be one of the 2 cards you drew.

Players count as candidates. Dark Horses also count as candidates and can control voters. A Dark Horse can lose a voter the same way players can. When a Dark Horse loses a voter, the controller of the Dark Horse decides which candidate gets control of that voter (as long as the candidate is qualified).

If you play a Dark Horse and there are already two Dark Horses in play, destroy one of them. If the destroyed Dark Horse controlled any voters, the controller of that Dark Horse decides which candidates get the voters (as long as the candidates are qualified.)
