Special Rules
Monsters, constructs, and other things are marked on the cards.
Monsters have corner values that represent their level. When you play a monster of level n, you must discard n - 3 cards, to a minimum of 0 (so level 3 monsters are free, but level 4 monsters cost one card). Monsters have the ability to destroy other monsters. As an action ability, a monster of level n can destroy one level n - 1 monster, two level n - 2 monsters, or four level n - 3 monsters. A monster of level n can also, as an action ability, force a monster of level n to be returned to its owner's hand. Monsters that can fly can only be attacked by other monsters that can fly.
