Talk:The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy CCG card set
Here's my "Alchemy" deck: (Note: this deck was created in an older version of the card set and may be out of date.)
Goals: Share and Enjoy(x1), Fiddling Small Change(x1), Where's My Towel(x1)
Goal-fulfilling cards: Nutrimatic Machine (x4), Triganic Ningi(x6), Triganic Pu (x1), Sirius Cybernetics Corp. Complaints Division(x1), Towel (x2).
Key Cards: Tea(x15), Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster (x8), Bistromath(x1)
Other cards:Milliways (x1), Infinite Improbability Field(x1)
Strategy: Obtain a Nutramatic Machine. Use it to obtain three Teas and two Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters. Play a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster and use the chain reaction to play your entire deck. Repeat if needed, using Milliways if winning would become otherwise impossible. -Bucky 04:52, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
I've created a page for this deck here. By the way, it seems to have 43 cards rather than 42. Also, I'm not sure you could play Milliways, because the Nutrimatic Machine is unable to pilot ships (I'm assuming you'd have Sirius Cybernetics as your opening World). Otherwise, it's an awesome-to-broken deck. --James 05:54, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe it could be worded less ambiguously, but the Bistromath is intended to be pilotable by Lifeforms that cannot normally pilot ships. --Kevan 14:23, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- I seem to have an extra Tea in there; However, replacing "Fiddling Small Change" with "Open the Gate" would fix this and allow more Tea.
Given that the Ningi card says "You may have any number of Ningis in your deck.", I think we've dropped a rule somewhere about the number of copies of a card you can have in one deck. (Looking at the other decks, it would seem to be "four".) --Kevan 12:45, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
