Hi, Giovan, I see you are trying to build a deck. You seem to know some but not all of the generally accepted design principles. Here are a few rules you should follow to make your deck more fun:

  • In a deck with no global win condition, there should be more than one way to win the game. If there are only a few (less than 1/10th of the deck and less than the maximum hand size) there should be many ways to keep the opponent from holding them all in his hand.
  • If a card requires some other card to work properly (e.g. Dance and Play Guitar), there should be more than one other card it works with; otherwise, it is useless more than half the time. You need somewhat fewer Guitars if there are a lot of uses for discarded cards.
  • New card types (like Rule) need an explanation of what they do, usually in the Special Rules.

And one particular convention:

  • Things in play are "destroyed" to move them to the discard pile. "Discarded" usually means to move a card from your hand to the discard pile.

Happy cardcrafting! -Bucky
