This game is based on our afternoon coffee ritual of playing Scopa, Briscola and Cribbage at Merlo.
Special Rules
Winning
The game ends when someone plays the "Merlo Closing Time" card and the coffee shop shuts, ejecting all their customers. Each coffee and card point is worth points and each assignment is worth negative points. The object of the game is to win the most points in cards, have a coffee and have no assignments.

Each coffee is worth a certain number of points. Who doesn't want coffee?
Thing - Card points
Points are available in games of Scopa, Briscola and Cribbage. You want to maximise the number of point cards you have, equivalent to getting Scopas, runs and pairs, trump cards, etc.
Thing - Assignments
No one likes assignments, least of all Honours level assignments. You want to procrastinate as much as possible and you can't procrastinate with an assignment hanging over your head.
