Basic Rules
Deal five cards to each player. At the start of each turn draw the top card from the draw pile (deck). (If the deck's empty, shuffle the discard pile (trash) and turn it over to make a new deck.) Play up to two cards from your hand. You can play one Thing and one Action per turn (or just one of those, or no cards at all). Checking your hand size; if you have more than five cards, discard down to five.
Special Rules
Each player starts with 5 coins. At the start of each players turn they take 1 coin from the pot (if available).
Reaction cards are played only during your opponents turns and there is no limit to the number of these you can play though there are only two in the deck.
As an additional cost to playing Things and Actions the number in the top right corner must be paid in coins. Some actions on Things will also require payment. Unless otherwise mentioned, spent coins go to the central pot.
If an Action is countered, the Action must still be paid for, it is non-refundable.
Table talk and bribing players through trade or philanthropy of any resource is allowed if both parties agree to the ownership transferal. Conditions of a deal may be stipulated before a trade but these conditions are suggestions and are not binding after the deal is made.
