Roundball is just a basketball card game I've made over the past year. There are some crazy, exaggerated cards, so it's not very realistic, but I dunno, I like it.
Special Rules
At the beginning of the game, toss a coin for the jumpball. Winner has the first turn.
Draw two cards at the beginning of your turn. You may play as many "Special" cards as you want; afterwards, you may play a "Standard" card. Discard down to five cards in your hand if you have more. Your turn is now done.
"Defense" cards are used in unusual times and ways. Read them carefully -- they are not played during your turn.
Free throws are assumed to be made. Made free throws count as one point each. Free throws are only missed when a card says so. After shooting free throws, your turn is over.
Winner is the player with more points after you have gone through the deck once.
If the score is tied at this point -- called the "end of the fourth quarter" -- each player draws five cards for an overtime session. No more drawing cards, just playing them. Play as many overtime sessions as you need until you have a winner.
