Hello! This is a newer, less complicated version of Customfighter. The original Customfighter can be found here: http://www.dvorakgame.co.uk/index.php/Customfighter.

Special Rules

Card Types

Character Cards: These can be anything from a Videogame Character to a TV Star. They have three stats: Strength(Str), Intelligence(Int), and Dexterity(Dex) These are used to determine the outcome of combat. When creating a character, you start with 15 points. These can be divided any way you want among the three stats.

Stage Cards: These have effects on the battle and determine what stat to use in combat. There can only be one Stage Card in play at a time.

Item Cards: These can be equipped to characters, and have a effect on the character they are equipped to.

Action Cards: These cards can be used to make different things happen. They normally have a stat requirement that must be met, or else you can't use the card.

Combat

If a player uses one character to attack another, combat is resolved in this order.

1.Check what stat to use by checking the stage. 2.Equip any items 3.Higher stat wins. 4.Loser's card gets sent to discard pile.

Ex: Doofus is attacking Moron. The stage is Haunted Mansion, which makes the stat to use Intelligence. Doofus has three Int, and Moron has four. Normally, Moron would win, but if Doofus equips Spare Brain(Which gives him +3 Int)at the last second, he would win.

Playing Stage Cards

Once per turn, if there is no stage card already in play, you can play a stage card. If there is a stage card, you can replace it at the cost of one card from your hand. The card in your hand and the previous stage card are placed in the discard pile.

Winning

Every time you defeat an opponent's character, you get a victory point. The first person to reach a certain number of victory points(Usually 5) wins the game.
