What exactly is the point of "counts as a virus"? No cards other than the virii themselves reference the idea of a card being a virus... --Sniffnoy, 3.8.02
Yes, this is one of the features we needed to polish, but never actually got around to polishing. We were going to add an Antivirus card, but decided it was too unbalancing. I thought I requested for the removal of that phrase, but apparently not. --X-G, 7.8.02

Hm, a "Play onto a Service. You may ignore the effects of viruses." card wouldn't be that unbalancing, would it? --Kevan, 8.8.02
The thing is most of the viruses affect the player in some sort, and not just services. An Antivirus card would have to be global. --X-G, 9.8.02

"When this whatever comes into play..." actions get executed only by the Player playing the card, right? --Drake, 7.6.04
Short answer: Yes. Long answer: According to the Dvorak rules, 'you' refers to the controller of the card. It then follows that anything the card tells the second person to do would be directed to its controller. --Rovenhot, 12.7.05

It's that "allowing any visitors to comment" thing. It's also the first real spam we've had in five years; if it turns out to be anything more than a blip, I'll start banning comments that include URLs. --Kevan, 8.8.05

How about an Antivirus Update: 'you are immune to the effects of virii until the start of your next turn'? --Dragon, 27.9.02

HEY KEVAN!!!! Why the hell are we allowing these people to "comment?" --Andy, 7.8.05

It's that "allowing any visitors to comment" thing. It's also the first real spam we've had in five years; if it turns out to be anything more than a blip, I'll start banning comments that include URLs. --Kevan, 8.8.05
