Players take turns to play hacks and viruses to try to destroy the opponents' computers. The last player with a system that has not been destroyed is the winner.
Special Rules
Face Up or Face Down
Hacks, Viruses and Programs may be played face up or face down. If played face up their effects immediately resolve. If played face down you can see what they are but no other player may. They have no effect until flipped. A card that is the specific target of another card is automatically flipped.
Disk Space and memory
You can only play Viruses and Programs if you have enough diskspace. (However, as Viruses are played to your opponent's side when flipped, you can only play them onto an opponent with diskspace.) Each Virus or Program takes up 1 diskspace.
You can only play Programs if you have enough memory. Each Program takes up 1 memory.
Card Types
- Hacks can be played to destroy other cards, mostly Defences, or to reveal information. Once played they are discarded.
- Viruses can be played on a target computer but only when the target computer does not have any Defences. Once played they can do a variety of things, including destroying Programs and Files.
- Programs can be played and allow a variety of actions.
- Hardware allow many things to be done.
