To play Dvorak: Draw five cards each and leave the rest as a draw pile. On your turn, draw a card from the draw pile and play one Thing and/or one Action. (See the full rules.)

Your mother-in-law has invited you over to her summer house in Florida. You somehow convince your wife to do something else in Florida. If you knew that going there with the kids would be a road trip from hell, visiting that old bat (I mean 'mother') might not have been so bad.

Special Rules

Destination Cards

Before the game begins, deal out a destination card face up infront of each player. The remaining ones stay in the deck as players can lose destinations. You can only keep one destination; if you get another one, you must immediately discard a destination, thus ending your turn. These cards should have different color backs to differentiate them from all other cards.

Discarding Gas

Cards that state 'discard a gas' requires the player to discard a gas card that has been played unless the card says otherwise.

Ending the Game

Once you have the required number of gas cards in play, you win. All destinations require 4 gas cards to be played. Grandma's House requires 5.

Old Man Driving

Event - Event

Slow down speed to 10 miles an hour. Discard a gas card. Cannot be played on a player with Satellite Navigation.

Accident Ahead

Event - Event

Player loses a turn. If player doesn't play Map or Satellite Navigation, player loses another turn.

World's Biggest Ball of Twine

Event - Event

Detour. Discard a gas card.

Fill Er Up

Event - Event

Turn over the top three cards from the deck. If any are gas, you may take one.

Flat Tire

Event - Event

Player loses a turn. Cannot be played on someone who has AAA Membership.

Gas Hike

Event - Event

Destination costs one extra gas card.

We're Lost

Event - Event

Discard a gas card. Cannot be played if player has Satellite Navigation.

All Systems Are Down

Event - Event

Player cannot use Satelite Navigation. Discard after We're Lost or Accident Ahead is played on you.

Out of Gas

Event - Event

Player must discard all gas cards in his hand, but not gas cards already played. Someone with AAA Membership can keep one gas card in his hand.

Don't Make Me Come Back There!

Event - Event

Lose a turn as you separate your two kids and lay down the law.

Out Voted 3 to 1

Event - Event

Discard your destination and put all gas cards in your hand. Now discard down to five cards. Note: You cannot win the game without a destination.

Planned Vacation

Event - Event

Draw 3 cards and discard any 2 cards from your hand.

Siphon Someone Else's Gas

Event - Event

Show players that you have no gas cards in your hand. Pick a player. That player must give you a gas card if he has one or show that he doesn't have a gas card either.

Go Fishing

Event - Event

You take a break at a lake to go fishing. Look through the discards and put one card in your hand.

Shortcut

Event - Event

You draw 2 cards and play 2 cards next turn. You can only play one gas card on that turn.

Rest stop

Event - Event

Draw a card for each player. Look at them and hand them out. No one can play gas or destination cards until your next turn.

Driving Around Aimlessly

Event - Event

If you don't have a destination, you can play a gas card. This counts towards gas needed to reach your destination. If you HAVE a destination card, discard a gas.

Quickly! Do I Turn Left or Turn Right?!!

Event - Event

Force a player to turn up the top card in the deck. If it's an event, it effects that player. If it's a gas card, they can keep the card.
