I think the Robot Wars combat system probably has the edge over this, although it's interesting to remove the random element. Good fun designing the shape of your ships on the tabletop, too. --Kevan, 28.2.02

Robot Wars? They have one of those? Cool, gonna hafta check that one out. I like the not-overly-detailed combat system here though; enough possibilities to make for a fun game and not too many rules so it'll proceed at a reasonable pace. Plus I've been looking for something like this; designing your own {insert Thing} and using it to fight with. --CK, 18.8.04

Hmmm, correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like there are only 4 planets here, unless you count Clydesdale orbital dockyard. That might make it a little tricky to complete an exploration mission. --Junkbone, 31.1.05

Er, oh yes, oh dear. We didn't play this one as much as we might have. Maybe it was intended as "play any five planet cards, even the same ones a few times", but that does seem a bit boring. Probably just needs a few more planet cards. --Kevan, 1.2.05

(In fact, might be more interesting if all the Actions were turned into Planets, somehow. With the Engines Cannae Take It becoming some sort of permanently-enforced Special Rule.) --Kevan, 1.2.05

There are any expansion rules? The game works fine with up to three players, due to the amount of passenger decks.... and yea, there's the amount of planets problem. --Kobayen, 2.3.05
