This works, but could use loads more cards, really, to capture the true spirit of Crescent. --Kevan, 12.7.02

Okay, I did a google search for this game, and got confused... so, what, is this basically like Calvinball? Make it up as you go? :) --X, 4.1.03

That is an outrageous slander on this wonderful game, X. I'll have you know Mornington Crescent is a world renowned sport just below chess on the list to be added to the olypics. This game is good for beginners, but like Kevan said, there need to be more cards. --Richard, 5.6.03

That still doesn't explain what the game is about, Richard. :/ (And, to be fair, I would consider it a great honor to be compared to Calvinball, but I'm not a game...) --X, 2.7.03

Which game are you talking about? Dvorak is a lot like Calvinball, in that players can make up new cards and rules as they go along (provided the other players agree to them). Mornington Crescent is a fairly Calvinball-esque game that we happened to make a Dvorak deck about. --Kevan, 6.7.03

Ah... I was asking about Mornington Crescent. --X, 28.8.03

The rules of regular Mornington Crescent can be found here: http://www.geocities.com/verdrahciretop/mc1.html This Deck version is helpful as a travel game (eg for playing on trains and vacations), but it really doesn't compare with the original game, and would require many more cards to be anything like the traditional board game. Recommended only for novices. --Gregory Topov, 4.12.04

Many Mornington Crescent variants don't need a board, however. I personally prefer the simlistic "Rush Hour" variant. --LSK, 28.8.05
